TPAtalk in Bristol with Matt Daw of PhotoVoice

Hikamat Right to Education

The first in an exciting new series of free TPAtalks will take place in Bristol on 01 November 2012 at 16:30. Hosted by The University of the West of England, the talk will be presented by TPA in collaboration with the charity organisation PhotoVoice. A presentation will be given by Matt Daw, Projects Manager at PhotoVoice, who will be introducing the work of PhotoVoice and explaining the projects that feature in TPA’s touring exhibition, VOICES, which is currently making its way around the country. Matt will also give us an insight into the concept of participatory photography and the way in which it can be used as a powerful tool to promote social change.

For TPA, participatory photography is a particularly interesting area of photography and we are extremely happy to welcome Matt Daw and PhotoVoice to our first TPAtalk.

Whilst the talk is taking place at the University, it is open to the general public so we invite you all to come along and join in the discussion.

A Q&A session will follow the talk and Matt Daw, along with TPA Communications Manager Antony Riley, will be happy to answer any questions you may have. We hope to see you there!
